I am CIPD qualified with 11 years’ experience in HR and project management. Before I joined the VA world, I have always worked in the charity sector. I have often had to deliver projects that are short on funds and time through sheer determination and hard work.

I don’t want it to sound like a cliché, but I do and will treat your business like it was my own. I am respectful, honest, open and like to work collaboratively. If I can’t do something, then I will be upfront and aim to refer you to someone else that can. If I think there is a better way of doing something that will save you money, I will tell you. I am fiercely loyal (rightly or wrongly) and will always work with you to come up with a solution.

I however, don’t ‘do’ babysitting or micromanagement when we work together. I hold us both accountable to communicate well and clearly so we know what needs to be done and by when. I make sure I check in when I say I will and if you need me, just pick up the phone (or Zoom, Meet, Slack or WhatsApp). I do this job for the flexibility so in return I will accommodate deadlines outside the 9-5.

I would love to tell you what my hobbies are, but I have none because when I am not working my time is spent refereeing my young kids. However, I do find time to eat cake!

There is no getting around the fact that I am trying to get you to buy a service from me, we all have to put food on the table but I hope I have given you enough insight into the sort of person I am and the work ethics I have. I hope we get to work together.
